highlights are a service where we weave individual strands throughout the head and apply lightener to give you a blonde dimensional affect. 

A partial highlight covers the top and face framing areas with lightner to give you the aperance of a overall highlight, without lightening the bottom half of your hair. A full highlight is lightening throughout the head to give you a overall effect. If a full highlight is needed to achieve your overall look the stylist will let you know during the consultation.

Whats important to know about highlights is that they themselves do not fade. To say it in the simplest terms when you spill bleach on something will that stain ever diisapear? Toners on hair will fade, leaving the exposed lightened section. But that lightened section will never fade, but the toner will. Other factors like mineral build up and chlorine will also affect your lightened hair, giving it a different appareance. But that can easily be resolved by using a cleansing shampoo.  

Done incorrectly, highlights can be damaging. Using bonding additives to your lightener will help preserve your clients integrity. Highlights can turning damaging in the processing stage if sat for way too long.  But dont worry, your stylist is trained to know when it's time to get you rinsed!

grey hair can be highlighted to achieve a grey and blonde blended natraul look. We can also apply root color with highlights to completely cover the grey.
